Our Promise

Guarantee & Returns

We stand behind every part we sell. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

30-Day Returns

Returns on most unused items must be started within 30 days of the purchase date.

Restocking Fee Waived

Take store credit or an exchange instead of a refund and the 25% restocking fee comes off.

Manufacturer Warranty

Every part carries the full manufacturer's warranty, and we handle the claim with them for you.

Return Policy

We accept returns on most unused items. Whatever the reason for your return, these rules apply to all of them:

  • All returns must be started within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • Every return needs a valid RMA number from us before you ship anything. Packages that arrive without an RMA number written on the outside are refused by our warehouse.
  • Once we issue your RMA number, the parts must be shipped back within 10 days. Our distributor closes their return window quickly, and past that point we can no longer accept the parts.
  • Products must be in new, resellable condition and in their original packaging, with all hardware, instructions, and accessories included. We cannot accept a product that is damaged or in otherwise poor condition.
  • If you ordered the wrong part or the wrong size, do not assemble, install, or modify it in any way. Any product that has been used or fully or partially installed cannot be returned.
  • Returns involving a defect, damage, or fitment problem require inspection. We may need the part sent back to the warehouse it shipped from so it can be assessed. If your own mechanic writes a report, we may still verify it by having the part inspected at the source.
  • Occasionally we will not need the part back at all. If that applies to your return, we will tell you how to dispose of it.

Restocking Fees

A 25% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns. It covers the inspection, repackaging, and distributor charges a return generates on our side.

Situation Restocking Fee
Refund to your original payment method 25%
Store credit or exchange Waived
Returned without all original packaging 25%, even on store credit or exchange
Our error, defect, or shipping damage None

Note: choosing store credit waives the restocking fee, but the original shipping charge is still deducted from the amount credited.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Some products cannot be sent back once purchased, either because of manufacturer restrictions or because they are built or ordered specifically for you:

  • Anything marked Non-Returnable on its product page
  • Custom built orders, and made-to-order items
  • Wheel and tire packages
  • Special order items. These are ordered from the manufacturer only after you place the order. They must be paid in full or carry a deposit at the time of order, and that payment becomes non-refundable once we receive it. Special order items cannot be cancelled, returned, or resold.
  • Coilovers and suspension components once unboxed
  • Electronics and ECU tuning devices
  • Engine internals such as pistons, bearings, rods, and valves
  • Turbochargers, superchargers, and forced induction kits
  • Any item that has been installed or altered in any way
  • Clearance, open-box, and scratch and dent items

Important: if a part from any of these categories arrives defective or damaged in shipping, you are still fully covered. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and we will take care of it.

Shipping Charges on Returns and Refunds

Shipping charges are not refundable.

If you are returning an order delivered within the continental United States and the reason is on your side, meaning you no longer need or want the product, you ordered the wrong product where the description was accurate, or any other reason not caused by our error, then you are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. The original shipping charge and a return processing fee of $10 per item will be deducted from your refund.

If the mistake is ours, we provide a prepaid return label and there are no fees.

For items that ship by freight or LTL, and for anything going outside the continental United States, returns may still be accepted under the terms above, but the shipping deduction is based on an estimate from the carrier. These costs are often substantially higher than the amounts above, and on heavy or oversized items they can exceed the value of the product itself. Ask us for an estimate before you commit to the return.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

We do everything we can to get you the right part, in the right condition, the first time. Occasionally something is damaged in transit, arrives defective from the production line, or is simply the wrong item.

If that happens, do not attempt to use, install, modify, or repair the part. Contact us and we will work out the best fix. We may ask for photos or video of the damage, defect, or fitment problem in order to process your request correctly.

In these cases we send you a prepaid return label. Once the part is back with us and we have confirmed the fault is not down to how the part was handled, we process your exchange or replacement.

Report shipping damage within 24 hours of delivery. Keep every piece of the original packaging, because the carrier needs to inspect it, and a claim filed after that window or without the packaging will be denied by the carrier. Email photos of the damage to [email protected] and we will file the claim.

Products must be back with us within 30 days of delivery. If a courier caused the damage we will arrange a damage pickup with them instead. Items shipped by freight carrier have additional requirements we will walk you through.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges under this section do not cover warranty claims, which are handled separately below.

Store Credit and Exchanges

Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued and can be redeemed against any product listed on this site. It cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to anything other than our products.

Exchanges are credited at the current price of the product being exchanged.

How Refunds Are Paid

Refunds go back to the card used for the original purchase. Where that is not possible, we can refund by ACH bank transfer, which requires your banking details. If a refund cannot be processed by either the original card or ACH, we reserve the right to issue store credit instead.

Once we approve your refund, allow an additional 5 to 7 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Core Deposits

Some products carry a core deposit, charged when you buy the part and refunded in full when you send the old core back. Cores must be in rebuildable condition and must match the vehicle application of the product sold. Once we receive and inspect the core, the deposit goes back to your original payment method.

Important: cores returned that are not fully assembled, or that are not the item removed from the vehicle, cannot be refunded and will be discarded. Send the complete unit back.

Manufacturer Warranty

Parts sold through Track Tech carry the manufacturer's warranty. We do not add a separate warranty of our own, and terms and time frames vary by brand and product.

If you hit a defect covered under warranty, contact us and we will coordinate the claim with the manufacturer for you. Warranty claims require inspection and approval by that manufacturer, which typically takes one to three weeks. Return shipping on warranty items is the customer's responsibility unless the manufacturer agrees to cover it. We will keep you updated throughout.

How to Start a Return

Email [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • The part number or numbers you want to return
  • The reason for the return, for example ordered in error, defective, or damaged in shipping

We reply within one business day with your RMA number and return instructions. Write the RMA number clearly on both the shipping label and the box, then send the parts back within 10 days. Do not ship anything back before you have an RMA number, because unmarked returns are refused on arrival.

We recommend a trackable, insured shipping method for every return. Once a package leaves you it is your responsibility until it reaches us, and claims for loss or damage in transit have to be filed by whoever bought the shipping.
